I oversaw the teams that produced the designs, content and SEO for several of the Nestle web properties. Each required a different approach but all leveraged the same process.

Working with the Nestle clients was an interesting and challenging experience as no two teams followed the same business process, which you usually see some type of resemblance when working for international brands.

When I started working on the Nestle business we managed two web properties. But after the relaunch of Coffee-mate we started to get more requests to help Nestle become more digitally adept.

TECH INNOVATIONS

All Nestle brands faced similar brand challenges, but the campaign work for Lean Cuisine posed the biggest opportunity to do something different. By understanding their campaign needs we produced usable tech..

DESIGN SYSTEMS

An effective digital experience leverages a repeatable design system to guide their experience. We were able to redefine the digital brand for each of the sites we worked on and found efficiencies by understanding their technology platforms.

LASTING SITES

Prior to working with us, Nestle managed their sites more like a campaign platform meaning it changed often. The sites we built for Nestle helped their teams better manage their content and maintain consistent experiences for loyal users.

CONTENT FILTERING

Lean Cuisine’s campaign championed women for being comfortable for who they are. Knowing this I helped create two “diet” filters. One that muted your television and a Chrome extension that blocked the term from web content.

INTERACTION DESIGN

Understanding the movement of how Coffee-mate interacts with Coffee, we developed interaction guidelines around “The Bloom” you see when adding it to your morning fix.

BRAND DEFINITION

Nestea wanted to launch their new site prior to a different agency completing their brand guidelines. We stood up to the challenge and through our approach helped to define what the brand needed to stand for.

FINDING EFFICIENCIES

Skinny Cow is a brand that didn’t have a large budget across all efforts. We were able to leverage our component and template definition for Coffee-mate to create them a site at lower cost but still unique to the brand.
